Snell, Patricia
Patricia Snell. Soprano, b Leamington, near Windsor, Ont, 30 Jun 1927. Patricia Snell studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music, was a member in 1949 of Herman Geiger-Torel 's Opera Backstage, and sang with the Canadian Opera Company until 1960, where her roles included Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte (1953), Gilda in Rigoletto (1954), Violetta in La Traviata (1955), Elvira in Don Giovanni (1956), and Rosina in The Barber of Seville (1959). She was married to the conductor George Crum.
